WM News & Events
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
In anticipation of a start towards the end of May, we want to tell you about the procedures we follow in our practice to keep clients and our team safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. Doing so allows us to make sure that our infection prevention procedures are current and adhere to each agencies' recommendations in addition to a variety of additional measures we take in order to remain diligent.
You can expect to see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. The following changes have been implemented to help protect our clients and our team:
Face masks should be worn by clients and therapists at all times.
Social distancing of at least 6 feet between each client at all times.
You will be asked to call the office when you arrive, prior to entering the building, to confirm that it is OK to enter.
We will reach out to you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
Once you arrive, please enter the building wearing a mask (If you do not have one we will provide one for you). We will check your temperature with a no touch thermometer and ask you to wash your hands according to accepted guidelines. We will also have hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol readily available throughout the office.
Our reception area will be restricted and used only when necessary. We will no longer offer reading material, coffee, snacks, or candy.
Appointment times will be managed to allow for adherence to social distancing guidelines and to complete required sanitation procedures. This may result in fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
We will allow enough time between clients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of clients in the reception area at any one time. This might mean we may contact you to adjust your appointment time.
We ask that all clients prepay for their appointments. (Amid the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, we have modified our cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to all our clients. We hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you may have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, we understand and request for you to please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations)
At this time, we will not be accepting clients on a walk-in basis. Additionally, we are not able to accommodate any guests in the waiting room.
The situation continues to fluctuate, but you can trust that we are continually reviewing our policies and procedures to represent the best approaches to ensuring safety.
We truly look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every client, safe in our practice. If you have had to cancel an appointment in the past several weeks, we will be contacting you once a start date is confirmed to reschedule. To make an appointment, please call our office at 508-244-0444 or schedule online at www.westboroughmassage.com.
Thank you for being our client and thank you for your continued patience. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back!
